Josephine’s Travels is a travel blogging website based out of Vancouver, BC. Website improvements included targeted SEO searchability, SEO-driven blog posts, responsive, fun & outdoorsy design, places travelled gallery, and improved digital marketing applied to the website.
Josephine’s Travels’ main goal was to create an online travel blog centred around British Columbia travel. I first settled on a theme involving the ocean and mountains, which mimicked the great outdoors of BC. Pictures of Vancouver were added to the site, as that is where the client currently resides. Also, I researched optimal SEO keywords for copywriting purposes.
Next, I create an about section through copywriting. A grid was then created for all of Josephine’s previous adventures and made each grid item clickable, which will take the user to the selected blog post.
Afterwards, I created a dynamic blog section, which means that every blog post would be added to the webpage automatically. I settled on a blog design layout for optimal readability.
Finally, I created a contact section at the bottom of the page so readers could contact the client with any travel-related questions. This added a personal touch to the travel blogging website.
The client was very content with her blogging website once I had it completed. In the future, the website can be optimized to multi-page for SEO purposes at the client’s request. The website checked all the boxes for the client.
